About Me
Here's the thing about paint parties — they're not really about painting.
They're about that moment when someone who walked in saying "I can't draw a straight line" suddenly pauses. Then they look up with an expression of surprise and joy, and that's the magic moment! Thats the moment the painting starts coming together.Â

I'm Lorraine, founder of The Social Bee Paint Parties, and I help create that moment at ever single party.
​
Hosting paint parties are personal in a way I hadn't expected.
Growing up, I was called the "Artsy fartsy kid". It was a gentle nudge away from creativity and towards something more "proper," more practical, more serious.
​
And like a lot of us, I put the creative stuff in a box and got on with adulting! The Social Bee is me finally opening that box again. And more than that — it's me holding it open for every woman who was told the same thing. Every woman who thinks she's not creative enough, not artistic enough, just not good at the "art" stuff! You are. I promise you, you are.
​
I bring all the supplies, all the guidance, and genuinely zero judgment. By the end of the night you will have a painting you're proud of, the kind of fun where you're still smiling on the drive home, and that warm fuzzy feeling of a really good night out with your people.
